Description

Working principle

The chiller consists of a stainless steel pump box, a chilled water tank, and a chain conveyor with special perforations.

A spray device is installed on the product inlet side. A cold water spray pipe is installed on the product outlet side. The product flows through the cooler in the opposite direction to the water flow.

The water in the cooler returns to the pump box through a filter. A separate pump ensures the water circulation through the external cooling device.

Capacity

The capacity of the hydraulic cooler depends largely on the product diameter, according to the core temperature and the desired output core temperature. Experience shows that the capacity is between 500-1500 kg/h.

The cooler is suitable for cooling all round products. The maximum processable diameter is 25 mm and the maximum residence time is 15 minutes.
