Weighing machine AFW-40/DB

Working principle

The AFW-40/DB wet tank weigher is suitable for weighing potatoes. The machine is completed with a conveyor system and a PLC-controlled weighing system.

The filling weight, parameters and other functions can be set and displayed using the touch screen. The operation of the machine is also carried out from this touch screen.

The product to be weighed is conveyed to the weighing box via a modular conveyor belt. When the actual weight in the weighing box is close to the set weight, the feed speed of the feed belt is automatically adjusted. This will ensure that the actual weight is as close to the set weight as possible

After reaching the set weight, the conveyor will stop and the weighing object of the weighing box can be manually unloaded. After unloading, the weighing belt is turned on again and the weighing cycle is repeated. The maximum capacity of the box is 25 liters (about 20 kg of potatoes). The blade of the machine is removable and the support platform is height-adjustable.

Depending on the product size, filling weight and weighing method batch weighing or batch weighing, or box weighing ±1200-1800 kg/h.
